Another neighbours Birthday

On Thursday it was another neighbour's birthday so on Wednesday evening, a quick trip to the craft room to make a card, but inspiration didn't strike and men are so hard to make cards for, so I started rummaging through the internet to try and find some inspiration and I found a card on Pinterest that was quite similar so off I went.

This is a 6" x 6" card that I mounted a chocolate coloured mat and using the Happy Birthday cuttlebug folder embossed a piece of cream coloured card.  And yes using the Cricut Celebration Cartridge cut the word "celebrate".  Wrapped up with a piece of brown ribbon - job done in about 20 minutes - perfect!

Neighbour's Birthday

Firstly I must apologise for not posting on here for so long, I have no reasonable excuse but I've been nagged to get something posted, so here goes.  The other day I realised at the last minute that it was my neighbour's birthday and I didn't have a suitable card.  If the truth be known, I probably had one of a dozen suitable cards but I just felt I wanted to make something fresh, so nipping into my room I grabbed some co-ordinating bits and this is what I threw together.....

The card is a 6" square to which I mounted some orange patterned card stock, yes, it does actually have a pattern on it, but it doesn't really show up in the picture.  The frame is from Craftwork Cards which I chalked over and the two messages are pre-printed, again from Craftwork cards and mounted upon a scalloped oval and a scalloped circle, both made with a SU punch that seem to fit perfectly.  The flower was from a pack I had, but can't remember who they're by, with a diamante stuck in the middle

Believe it or not I didn't even use my cricut to make this card!

New Baby

A friend of mine asked me to make her a new baby card and I managed to sneak a couple of hours in my craft room, and this is what I came up with...

I used my Cricut New Arrivals cartridge for the baby-gro's using up scraps of paper, the hearts border is from the Elegant Edges cartridge and the baby details at the bottom were just printed on my computer.  The background paper is from a New Baby paper pack.

Thanks for looking x
